In the southwest corner of Minnesota rests a small family farm that has been “in the family” since the early 1930’s. After having raised mostly corn and soybeans over the years, we’ve decided to be more diversified in the way we live.  We’ve started by raising some beagles, border collies, their puppies, moscovy ducks and chickens.  They bring hours of entertainment as we watch and interact in their day-to-day lives.

I feature a small show kennel in Central Florida, where Beagles are my love, my hobby, and a big part of my life and family.  My goal is to produce sound, healthy, happy, merry little hounds by breeding as close to the A.K.C. standard as possible.

My puppies are raised in my home where they are well socialized to different sights, sounds and handled frequently.

We’re a family hobby kennel in located in southwestern Pennsylvania. We strive to improve our breeds by producing puppies that exemplify their breed standards. Although our pups are bred to excel in conformation and field work, they are first and foremost excellent companions.

We began our foray into conformation events with our second vizsla, Sagebrush, in 2002, and subsequently became addicted to showing. In 2004, we added what initially started out as “a beagle”, and have since made way for “a few beagles”. These merry little hounds have certainly worked their way into our hearts.

Our involvement with our dogs over the years has allowed us to make many close friends and aquaintances who have helped us to learn so much. We are forever thankful for everyone who has given us their time, knowledge and resources in helping us to get to where we are today.

Jeff and Susan Armstrong have been showing the Beagle breed in conformation and performance (obedience, agility, rally, tracking and field work) events since 1995. Before that time, we showed German Shepherd Dogs beginning in 1985.  Since 1995, we have concentrated on beagles. All of our beagles are raised in a home environment and socialized  whether going to a show home or as a pet/companion. We prefer the sire and dam chosen for breeding to pass health tests for hips, thyroid, patellas, Musladin-Lueke Syndrome (MLS), Factor VII (a bleeding disorder), and Eye Certification.  We use the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals as a guide for testing.
Puppies (when available) are sold with a written contract that stipulates they be returned back to us, at any age, if the person can no longer keep it.  All puppies evaluated as a pet/companion come with a spay/neuter agreement (A.K.C. Limited registration).  We do not allow puppies to leave before 10 weeks old. All L.T. Beagle puppies will have their first vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped and crate trained before leaving for their new home. Whether puppies are sold to be shown in conformation, to be used in performance events or sold as a pet/companion, we will offer support to the buyer for the life of the dog.
I am a supporting member of the National Beagle Club.

oan has been raising, training, breeding and showing dogs for 60 years. She has trained and shown successfully in conformation, obedience, and agility; beginning this life long passion with her favorite breed, St. Bernards.  She began breeding Beagles in 2004.   Everwind Beagles began with Ch. Tung’s Everwind Talia who was purchased as a puppy and the first Beagle Joan finished for a championship.  Talia was bred to the famous Uno’s (Ch. K-Runs Park Me In First – The first Beagle to ever win Best In Show at Westminster) father, GCH. Windkist A Walk In The Park (Parker) for two different litters.  The first litter consisted of three puppies.  Two are champions, Specials at that, and have group placings to their credit.  They are GCh. Everwind’s A Tryst In The Park and Ch. Everwind’s Taylor Maid To Fit. The third has 31 points with a 4pt. major before being pulled from the show ring. And the second litter gave us GCHB Int. Ch. Everwind’s A Chance Encounter In The Park.

Joan’s Beagles have been recognized worldwide for their quality, correctness, and for conforming to the breed standard. She has bred and shown four generations to their champions and beyond and has fourth generations puppies that show promise of continuing her winning ways. Furthermore, Joan is proud to welcome Jordan LaPlaca as a partner in her Beagle breeding program.

Waskasoo.jpg

Welcome to Waskasoo Kennel. Dedicated to the promotion and improvement of the Beagle, we are a small hobby kennel located in Central Alberta, Canada.  Our foundation stock originates from several well known Scandenavian and more recently Australian kennels. Our greatest influence comes from the Daragoj Kennel in Finland. We are continually striving to maintain the standard, specializing in the 15″ beagle. Our beagles possess sound  temperaments,  sound structure and exceptional movement. All our beagles have available health checks completed before being used in our breeding program. We are participators in the Beagle Genetics Survey and the DNA project at Davis University in California. Member of the National Beagle Club of America, Bev has recently been appointed to the Health & Genetics Committee for the NBC. Our puppies are sold with health guarantees.  We maintain contact with all our puppy buyers and provide help and advice when needed.  Because we are a small kennel, we only have occasional litters. We offer stud service, and occasionally we have older dogs for sale. All our dogs live in our home and are well socialized. We encourage anyone interested in purchasing a beagle to do their research. Beagles are not for everyone. We strive to find good homes for good beagles. Do your homework. Be sure that you want a dog whose greatest pleasure in life is following his nose to the next good smell that may be miles from your home. Three necessities: Fenced yard, early obedience training and lots of patience! If the Beagle is for you, we will be happy to provide you with any information you might require. As a rule, I do not sell puppies to families with children under 6 years of age Visitors to our kennel are always welcome. As well as raising beagles, our kennel owns an  Australian Shepherd. Our “hairy” dog competes in obedience and enjoys Rally-O. Our property was recently annexed by the city, so consequently we are trying to keep our numbers down and wind down our breeding program.

East Idaho Beagles.jpg

Since 2002 we have been in the business of making people smile by providing them with quality Beagles they can add to their family.  Our family lives on a farm and we work hard to provide the very best for our animals.  We take meticulous care of all our dogs by providing them with the best of care recommended by our team of veterinarians and staying up to date on the latest in canine research.

Over the years we have grown in our knowledge of what makes an exceptional Beagle.  It has taken a lot of time, finances, and energy, but we are sure you will agree that this work is what sets our Beagles above others you will find.  We only allow the best of the Beagle breed to join our breeding dogs.  All of our dogs must prove themselves in competitions and personality before becoming parents.  This makes all the difference in the puppies we produce.

Our dogs have regular interaction with people of all ages as well as different species of farm animals and equipment.  This makes our dogs very well rounded.  They are used to new experiences and love life on the farm.

DREAMWORKS.JPG

Here at Dreamworks we strive to breed healthy, structurally correct, excellent temperaments, and good working minds. Breeding is a passion and it’s not for the faint of heart. It takes dedication and time to comb through pedigrees, make contacts, showcase my dogs, and train and condition them- body and mind- to be the best they can in and out of the show ring. All my dogs are health tested and test results are available to all who enquirer. Many are listed on the OFA site but more testing is done than what is listed on their website. So please feel feel to contact us with any questions and for more information any of our dogs.
Dreamworks started long before it ever got its name. I’ve had Dalmatians in my life since I was 12 years old, and I grow up with my dad breeding hunting beagles. Both breeds are dear to my heart. Dreamworks seemed to be the perfect name when I decided to dive into breeding and showcasing my dogs; and Journey (Ch HiSpot’s Magical Journey CGC) seemed the perfect name for my foundation girl who ended up being far more than I could have ever dreamt when I picked her up at nine weeks old. She has since passed away but her unconditional love for all and her tender spirit love on in her kids, grandkids, and great grand kids. The Journey continues and I couldn’t be more grateful for all my dogs and the gifts they have blessed me with. I traveled all over the world, met some of my dearest friends, and continue to learn and explore new place and things all because of my dogs.

FLEUR.JPG

Fleur de Lis Kennels (an AKC Breeder of Merit) is a collaboration of Jennifer Bell and Jennifer Bewley Robbins. The “Jennifers” met at a Great Dane Club of Louisiana meeting in 2000, soon learning they had the same goals in mind for breeding the best Great Danes possible. Through a lot of hard work and determination, champions were born. Jennifer Bell is an AKC Breeder of Merit having bred/co-bred, owned/co-owned, and handled many health tested Beagle and Great Dane Champions and Grand Champions thus far. After much heartbreak and dismay, she decided to branch off into Beagles and they have become her absolute heart breed. Both Jennifer’s now own and co-own Great Danes and Beagles with each other and several other owners. Together, they breed 1-2 litters per year at most. Jennifer Bell is an all breed professional dog show handler. The Jennifers are also lucky to have husbands, Hank and Tom respectively, who appreciate and share their joy with the dogs.

Currently, Jennifer Bell’s home shares space with Rebel, Stevie, Noelle, Phoenix and Julie. Many others come and go regularly for enjoyment, training and just grandma time! Jennifer Bewley Robbins shares her home with Whiskey and Tater, plus many other Beagles who go for play time regularly. Please enjoy our website!
