We have owned Neapolitan Mastiffs and been a USNMC Parent club member since 1999. We have AKC Championed 4 Neapolitan Mastiffs to date , and have pointed and majored many dogs . We usually have 1-2 litters a year . Our standards are high, for our breedings , and our puppy buyers!
I was first introduced to the Tibetan Mastiff 8 years ago and this magnificent breed has been a part of my family ever since. I value correct structure, gait and overall balance of each of my dog companions and I am now actively involved in the TM conformation ring. To help ensure quality Tibetan Mastiffs, I strive to breed vigorous, strong and genetically sound puppies with correct temperaments for companionship, guardianship, breeding and the show ring.

We have finished nearly 300 American, Canadian and International Champions. I have bred nationally ranked, group winning and multiple Best-In-Show and Best In Specialty Show Mastiffs. Beowulfs Mastiffs has had the top ranked Mastiffs in 7 countries. I have my own way of thinking on what qualifies for a breeding prospect. First and foremost, they must be of sound mind and body. All Beowulf Mastiff youngsters are hugged, kissed, loved and raised in our home.
Our main focus is to promote and protect the Old English Mastiff breed. Our Mastiffs are of the highest quality with both sound mind and body. Hrothgar Mastiffs was established in 2002 after its founders, Traci & Jeff Weaver acquired their first English Mastiff. Traci spends many weekends at dog shows which has become her hobby of choice allowing her to spend as much time as possible with the 4 legged kids.
I breed my Mastiffs for breed standard and attempt to better my dogs with each breeding. More importantly I breed for family companions. I limit my breeding program to achieve the true Mastiff type, good health and excellent temperaments. All my dogs are health tested and I follow the code of ethics set forth by the MCOA.My goal is to create Mastiffs with great heads, body,balance and lines.

Our dream was to find a a home nestled deep in the woods, so we could start our small family owned kennel breeding English Mastiffs. In 2004 our dream came true, we have 25 acres nestled deep in the woods of Morganfield, Kentucky.Once you own a Mastiff I guarantee you will want to own another one. “They are the BEST breed of any dog around.” All of our Mastiffs are our pride and joy and the only “KIDS” that we have.
We are not a large kennel with many breeding dogs. We have our beloved dogs as pets. We don’t breed for quantity, but instead, quality. All of our dogs are like our children and extremely loved. They don’t sit locked up in a kennel, they are out with us, their family. We are a smoke free home, for the pups best start possible. Health is number one.
An ancient breed, rediscovered in Italy in the 1940’s, the Neapolitan Mastiff is a heavy-boned, massive, awe inspiring dog bred for use as a guard and defender of owner and property. He is characterized by loose skin, over his entire body, abundant, hanging wrinkles and folds on the head and a voluminous dewlap. The essence of the Neapolitan is his bestial appearance, astounding head and imposing size and attitude. Due to his massive structure, his characteristic movement is rolling and lumbering, not elegant or showy.
