Baerental German Shepherds is dedicated to breeding German Shepherd puppies that add richly to the lives of our clients. We breed according to the German guidelines to preserve the character, intelligence, working ability and health of the German Shepherd. Our puppies must be great with children and other dogs, they must be able to go anywhere and do anything that their family would like them to do, and they must be willing and happy learners and workers. We serve New Mexico, New England, Texas, Arizona and New England.
At Mtn Rose Schnauzers my goal is to offer the best treatment that love can bring. Each one is given individual attention and well socialized to bring joy and laughter to those around them. My goal is to breed healthy, balanced, intelligent, smart, stylish dogs with great personalities happy, adaptable, and eager to please and loving. Once a puppy from a litter has been selected for show, the remainder of the puppies having great quality are sold to qualified loving homes.
We are located in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, just northwest of Albuquerque, and have been breeding and showing dogs since 1980, starting with Keeshonds and then moving on to Akitas. In recent years we have decided to try our hand with Labrador Retrievers because of their sweet nature, versatility and capacity for learning. We are a small, private kennel and specialize in the breeding of sound, “English” style Labrador Retrievers in all three colors: chocolate, yellow, and black. Although our dogs are actively shown in conformation, all of our dogs live in the house and are pets first and show dogs second. They are loved and played with on a daily basis and worked with on training several days a week. Frequently putting our dogs before AKC judges and winning, reinforces the soundness of our breeding program. All of our dogs are carefully screened prior to breeding, so that every precaution is taken to make sure that each breeding produces healthy, happy pups absent of any inherited disorders. The goal of our breeding program is to constantly be striving to produce that “perfect pup”.
We are nestled at the base of the Manzano Mountains, just south of Albuquerque New Mexico, in the Land of Enchantment.Our dogs & cats enjoy an abundant amount of sunshine and fresh air here in the southwest. After raising and showing Persian cats for many years, in 1997, we discovered the endearing Japanese Chin which was followed by the clown-like Shih Tzu.We produce healthy happy puppies & kittens for the show ring or as a loving pet.We strive to meet the AKC standard on all our puppies and to produce happy, healthy kittens that fit the CFA standard.
