In our breeding program, we strive for keen working ability, correct conformation with excellent flexibility for working, good coats, athletic ability, and of course the naturally good temperaments so characteristic of this breed.Our foundation breeding stock came from some of the best working kennels in England.
Windermere Kennel started in 1975 with the purchase of an eight-week-old bitch puppy from Ailsa Crawford of Far Hills, New Jersey. Named “Hamilton Sprite”, she quickly taught me what the Jack Russell Terrier was all about.From that beginning, Windermere has grown steadily over the years.I have always strived to keep the emphasis on quality. In our breeding program, I aim to produce terriers with exceptionally good conformation. Finally, I try very hard to keep one other aspect in the forefront of my breeding program; TEMPERAMENT. Perhaps that is what Windermere is best known for.
Pine Hill Terriers is a small kennel of working Jack Russell Terriers (JRTs) located in Virginia’s beautiful Shenandoah Valley. I have been an active member of the JRTCA and involved with showing, breeding, and hunting JRTs since the late 80’s. I proudly serve on several committees and I am also a conformation, working, and go-to-ground judge.My goal is to produce a high-quality versatile terrier of sound body and mind. At 57 I feel I have a mission and rewarding labor of love (and , as I call it, lots of “Fun work”). I truly believe I am providing best friends, unconditionally loving companions and family members, and that it is a positive endeavor in an especially troubled world, especially for families with children. We continue to raise puppies and have ongoing positive feedback and referrals from happy people, many with families and children. Some of my dogs are doing therapy work and/or perform in obedience trials.
We have been breeding Irish Setters for over 30 years. Our aim is to produce healthy, loving, and beautiful dogs. All of our setters that have ever been bred have been certified clear of hip dysplasia. Most of our setters go into pet homes where they become a part of the family. They are great fun loving dogs and give laughter to your life!
Marty and I both discovered the Sport of Dogs long before we discovered each other. He spent most of his time with the Beagles and I spent most of mine with the Flat-Coats. One day we were introduced by a friend and the rest is history. We now own and breed Flat-Coats under the Blazin prefix. We share our home in Mt. Airy, Maryland with our 6 Flat-Coats and sons, Colin and Bryce.

We are located in Gettysburg, PA. We only breed Scotties. We want our dogs to go to homes where they will be loved and treated as part of the family.
