The coat on the Shiba is somewhat soft, thick and plush to the touch. They have a double coat, with a strong, straight outer coat and a soft undercoat.
The Shiba Inu was bred to flush out ground game from the undergrowth of the mountain areas of Japan. They are very fast and are NOT OFF LEASH DOGS!

They are all Certified by our veterinarian.We now have CHIC approved Japanese Chin. This means they have Certified Heart, Certified Eyes, and Certified Patella’s. We also have our first two Grand Champions, GCh JanLar UrChin Moonstone and GCh JanLar Bella’s Lavender.Our Japanese Chin live in our home they are our house flowers. They don’t live in a Kennel atmosphere.
