Welcome to Red Rooster Retrievers, a small family owned kennel in southeast South Dakota. Red Rooster Retrievers is dedicated to training and raising quality Labrador retrievers that are great hunting companions, champions in field tests, and wonderful family pets. We have plenty of room to train and grow including grassy training areas and water holes.
We are a little family of 3 located in the Great Plains of South Dakota, just a few minutes away from Sioux Falls.
In 2014, we decided on a Boston Terrier puppy for our son, Matthew Zane, who happens to have autism.
We wanted a sturdier yet small breed of dog and “Beans” was the girl who started it all.
We were instantly hooked on the breed and decided to start a new family adventure together.
So began our search to find a few more, even if that meant finding Bostons from different parts of the country!

We have been raising German Shorthaired Pointer puppies since 1989 and take pride in breeding a calm, smart, pup that has the desire to please and be good with kids but with enough natural instinct to be an excellent hunter.
