I do not show myself although I do produce puppies with show potential. My main goal as a breeder has been to produce healthy, happy, well tempered Westie puppies for loving companions.

We are a small show kennel located in Central Virginia. The origins of Beowulf date back to 1985 in Marlborough, Massachusetts and started with the Beagle bloodlines of Bridal Vale, Chrisette, Buglair and White Acres.
We strive to produce a pretty little hound that demonstrates elegant breed type. Most importantly these dogs must have the qualities of temperament that allow them to be an excellent companion animal.
Like most, our Beagles are comedians and engage in mischief on a regular basis. Our German Shepherd Dogs are also exhibited at conformation shows but take life a bit more seriously and thus have a full time job trying to keep the Beagles in line.

I was first introduced to Miniature Schnauzers as a young teenager, working as a care giver at one of the top Miniature Schnauzer kennels in the country. With the help of many mentors thru the years and lots of personal experience, my daughter and I continually strive to raise the best little companions possible. We have changed locations a bit, first Pennsylvania, then Texas, Europe, and now we are located in the wonderful countryside of Virginia on five beautiful acres of wooded land. But, our goal has never changed — to produce healthy puppies that are beautiful, consistently win in the show ring, AND also have the brains and personality to match.
Each of our dogs spend time in the house with us as part of our family, however we cannot be with all of them all of the time. In order to ensure they are comfortable, each of our dogs has a heated and insulated house in a 576-square-foot kennel. Our promise to you is that we will do our best in selecting breeding stock of the highest quality with health, temperament, and breed improvement as priorities.

All puppies are born in my home and have daily human interaction. Puppies are AKC and/or CKC registered. Most have their dew claws removed, All have age appropriate vaccinations, regular dewormings starting at 2 weeks of age, heartworm preventative starting at 8 weeks, JHC negative (via parentage testing), have a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian, 2 year life threatening genetic health guarantee, 72 hour health guarantee, Certificate of DNA Paternity, Pedigree and have been Microchipped with pre-paid registration before they leave my home. They will come with all health records, registration application, a puppy pack, and a photo/video CD of all pictures & video taken since birth. Our goal is to provide excellent family boerboels that are healthy and structurally sound. Family devotion, confidence and trainability are very important attributes we look for when selecting our breeding pairs.
