Gangway Miniature Schnauzers is the breeding program of Bill Brown, Houston, Texas. We have been involved in breeding and showing Miniature Schnauzers, in various ways, since 1958. As an AKC chihuahua breeder, health is a number one concern to me and we have all of our adults health tested for the three most common genetic issues -heart, eyes & patellas (knees). This results in healthier chihuahua puppies! As a reputable AKC chihuahua breeder we treat our dogs like family. They are raised indoors with lots of outdoor playtime, during nice weather, for their daily dose of Vitamin D! We feed high quality food, that does not contain fillers like soy, corn and wheat. We even supplement with raw meat twice a week. Consequently, our dogs are healthier and have gorgeous, soft, shiny coats!
I have been a westie breeder for over 15 years. I take pride in my dogs. I raise dogs with good health, conformation and temperaments. My westie’s have square boxier heads, with small ears and short tails. The parents have great hair coats and no skin issues. I have been very carefull in the selection of my dogs. We have been raising Bostons for three generations. My grandmother, Faye Spain, began raising Boston Terriers over 50 years ago. We raise Bostons and only Bostons. We take a great deal of pride in the quality of our dogs. We believe in quality not quantity. We do our best to maintain the breed standard in our dogs. While our goal is to breed for show puppies, we do occasionally have pet puppies available. We are located in Cleveland, TX and Waller, TX (outside of Houston).
Just north of Houston, near The Woodlands and Conroe, Texas, as a young boy I ran the woods around Old Waverly hunting whatever was in season. It was my grandparent’s farm, we called it “the country”. Stories of adventures in the woods and hay meadows around “Waverly” continued until I went off to college. During and after college the hunting stories kept on being written but they occurred in other places.
We ventured out into the world of obedience competition in 1984 with Duffy, our very first Scottie. Within a year of his arrival the show bug had bitten and we acquired our very first AKC confirmation scottie from breeders Sue & Gary Carr. That was 30 years ago. During those years we’ve made up approximately 30 champions. Excellent health, sound temperament and structure have always been uppermost in our minds when planning a breeding. We take advantage of all available testing to ensure, to the best of our ability, the health of our Scotties.

The Boston Terrier is a cross between an English Bulldog and a English WhiteTerrier resulting in a very intelligent little dog that shows the best features of both of these parent breeds.
The Boston Terrier is truly an “All American” dog. According to the AKC, part of the breed’s success is due to it’s American origins. Bostons are often described as near-perfect companions. They are friendly, affectionate, gentle with children, clean, easy to train and comical. Bostons live for their owners and they are eager to please.
We are a family of 4 living on a 114 acre ranch out here in Dime Box, TX where we have tons of fun playing, running, swimming, and doing just about everything with our dogs. Our family has been raising these two breeds for almost 30 years and we are excited to be the third generation involved. We absolutely adore each one of our dogs and love to find homes for their pups where we know they will bring life and joy.
All of our dogs are AKC registered and have solid health backgrounds. We select our dogs for their health and wonderful personalities (and we just happen to think they are are all also beautiful).
