Our puppies are all born in our home, under very close supervision.

Some parents and grandparents OFA certificates are on the parent page, (Orthopedic Foundation Association) for patellas, hips and eyes as recommended by the breed club. No other breeder I know of does as much health testing, over such a long time for Westie’s as we do.

Our Scotties are home-raised and well socialized. In good weather, we can often be found patio-dining with one, or more of our well mannered Scotties! We are particular about each litter & attentive to each puppy we breed. Our AKC Registered Scottish Terriers are owner-handled to their Championships.
We have quality bloodlines and healthy companion pets. We raise them by hand, care for them, and welcome then into our home. All of our pets are gorgeous, well taken care of, healthy, and happy! Redfeathers is located in southwestern Illinois, just across the mighty Mississippi from St. Louis, Missouri. All of my dogs are beloved members of the family and live in the house with me, not in crates or kennels. Health is of the utmost importance to me and all dogs used for breeding have cleared all the health tests recommended by the Irish Setter Club of America.My goal is to produce quality, happy, healthy dogs with sweet temperaments that are intelligent and eager to please their people.

It takes dedication and time to comb through pedigrees, make contacts, showcase my dogs, and train and condition them- body and mind- to be the best they can in and out of the show ring. All my dogs are health tested and test results are available to all who enquirer. Many are listed on the OFA site but more testing is done than what is listed on their website. Dreamworks started long before it ever got its name. I’ve had Dalmatians in my life since I was 12 years old, and I grow up with my dad breeding hunting beagles. Both breeds are dear to my heart. Dreamworks seemed to be the perfect name when I decided to dive into breeding and showcasing my dogs; and Journey (Ch HiSpot’s Magical Journey CGC) seemed the perfect name for my foundation girl who ended up being far more than I could have ever dreamt when I picked her up at nine weeks old. She has since passed away but her unconditional love for all and her tender spirit love on in her kids, grandkids, and great grand kids. The Journey continues and I couldn’t be more grateful for all my dogs and the gifts they have blessed me with. I traveled all over the world, met some of my dearest friends, and continue to learn and explore new place and things all because of my dogs.
I breed AKC rough collies and I love it. My husband and I have owned collies since we got married over 44 years ago. We moved to the country in 2000 and were able to set up a wonderful collie breeding program. The two paramount concerns for our collie breeding program are that our collie puppies are healthy and become a family member.
Starting at age 14 while still in high school, over 64 years ago, I raised and sold registered beagles. I have kept beagles ever since.
While most beaglers only last a few years, we have been in the the beagle business approximately 25 years on a full-time basis- and we’re still going strong.
We have the the largest beagle kennel in Southern Illinois. We run a full-time operation selling hounds to many people throughout the United States. Some travel many miles to see my operation and watch their style of beagle run and then choose the hound that suits them. We can ship beagles by ground or air if you can’t make the trip. It’s better if you can watch the dogs perform. You are encouraged to bring along your best and put it to the test.
I show all dogs here in the field. You can see them hunt, jump and run rabbits. We shoot over all dogs in the field.
