All Island German Shepherd K-9 Services is located in Calverton on the North Shore of Long Island, NY. We are highly dedicated to the German Shepherd dog through Schutzhund and Obedience and maintain a breed with European bloodlines.  All Island German Shepherd K-9 Services focuses its breeding efforts on developing excellent temperaments, superior intelligence, trainability, flat strait back, a big boned body with a massive head. And, above all else our dogs are bred for good health.Our dogs are the latest generation in a long line of top notch K-9 companions.

We are located on 16 acres in the beautiful rural northwestern hills of Connecticut. We raise our puppies in our home as part of our family so they can receive proper socialization. We enjoy exhibiting our dogs in AKC conformation dog shows, so every breeding is carefully planned in hopes we will produce our next show champion. Our breeding program focuses on quality, not quantity. We breed to the American Kennel Club (AKC) breed standard and strive for good health, structure, and temperment.

Bali Hai was first established in early 1999 when we acquired our first Shiba Inu “BALI HAI”; hence our name. We had previously been Elwood Kennels and were involved in the breeding of Miniature Pinschers. We are located in EASTERN LONG ISLAND (Suffolk County), NEW YORK.

We are a small hobbyist consisting of 9 Shibas. We produce anywhere from 3-7 puppies a year. Staying small enables me to put the necessary time into each individual puppy. All of our puppies are home raised and handled constantly from birth for socialization purposes.

At Nor’easter,  we carefully plan our litters and breed for sound health and temperament, and perform all recommended health testing on our breeding stock prior to breeding.  Litters are raised in our home, so puppies are exposed to normal household sights, sounds and smells from an early age.  Puppies also receive Early Neurological Stimulation during their first sixteen days, which stimulates their hormonal, adrenal and pituitary systems, and helps them to better withstand stressful situations as they mature into adulthood.  Puppies typically stay together with their litter-mates until at least nine weeks of age, which aids in the development of their social manners.

Show quality puppies stay at Nor’easter, where they will complete their AKC Championship prior to their own role in our breeding program.  Puppies (and occasionally adult dogs) which might not excel in the show ring are sold to approved homes, with a health guarantee and contract.

Nor’easter is committed to our dogs for their lifetime, so our breeding program stresses quality, not quantity.  On average, we breed one litter per year, and we do not keep a ‘waiting list’ unless we have a breeding planned, an expectant mother, or a litter of puppies ‘on the ground’.  If we don’t anticipate having a dog or puppy available for your family, we would be happy to make referrals to other reputable breeders throughout the US.  We are both Regular and Supporting Members of the National Beagle Club of America, and AKC Breeders of Merit.

My name is Ken Capasso. We are a small family, empty nesters with kids and grand kids who visit often. We live in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains located in Central Massachusetts.
I have been involved with various types of large dominate breeds for roughly 45 years.
We breed for the love of the breed and to assure we have a healthy capable bloodline for my children and grandchildren.  I do not breed many litters.  I am  very selective on who is allowed to have one of our beloved BBs.
