Located near Cincinnati in West Harrison, Indiana, we are a small kennel devoted to quality AKC beagles. We breed our beagles for what we like: good health, great looks, friendly personalities, and outstanding hunting ability. Our beagles make wonderful dual purpose dogs, so whether you are looking for a hunting companion, family pet, or both, you have come to the right spot!
Here at Dreamworks we strive to breed healthy, structurally correct, excellent temperaments, and good working minds. Breeding is a passion and it’s not for the faint of heart. It takes dedication and time to comb through pedigrees, make contacts, showcase my dogs, and train and condition them- body and mind- to be the best they can in and out of the show ring. All my dogs are health tested and test results are available to all who enquirer. Many are listed on the OFA site but more testing is done than what is listed on their website. So please feel feel to contact us with any questions and for more information any of our dogs.
Dreamworks started long before it ever got its name. I’ve had Dalmatians in my life since I was 12 years old, and I grow up with my dad breeding hunting beagles. Both breeds are dear to my heart. Dreamworks seemed to be the perfect name when I decided to dive into breeding and showcasing my dogs; and Journey (Ch HiSpot’s Magical Journey CGC) seemed the perfect name for my foundation girl who ended up being far more than I could have ever dreamt when I picked her up at nine weeks old. She has since passed away but her unconditional love for all and her tender spirit love on in her kids, grandkids, and great grand kids. The Journey continues and I couldn’t be more grateful for all my dogs and the gifts they have blessed me with. I traveled all over the world, met some of my dearest friends, and continue to learn and explore new place and things all because of my dogs.
All our dogs are born, raised and live in our house as a part of our family, kenneling dogs is against our philosophy of dog ownership. Our hounds have 24 hours a day access to the one acre-big securely fenced back yard via a dog door and they all live as one pack. That’s why, when breeding, we pay close attention to producing happy, friendly dogs with easy going temperaments. Health issues are of paramount importance for us too and we do careful health evaluation of our breeding stock that includes DNA testing for breed specific disorders.
We were blessed to start our breeding program with exceptional breed specimens that resulted from dedication and hard work of many generations of breeders in this country and around the world. Now it is our turn to share our success with fellow breeders – our beagles are making an impact in show rings and whelping boxes not only in Western hemisphere but in many European countries as well.

Welcome to Waskasoo Kennel. Dedicated to the promotion and improvement of the Beagle, we are a small hobby kennel located in Central Alberta, Canada. Our foundation stock originates from several well known Scandenavian and more recently Australian kennels. Our greatest influence comes from the Daragoj Kennel in Finland. We are continually striving to maintain the standard, specializing in the 15″ beagle. Our beagles possess sound temperaments, sound structure and exceptional movement. All our beagles have available health checks completed before being used in our breeding program. We are participators in the Beagle Genetics Survey and the DNA project at Davis University in California. Member of the National Beagle Club of America, Bev has recently been appointed to the Health & Genetics Committee for the NBC. Our puppies are sold with health guarantees. We maintain contact with all our puppy buyers and provide help and advice when needed. Because we are a small kennel, we only have occasional litters. We offer stud service, and occasionally we have older dogs for sale. All our dogs live in our home and are well socialized. We encourage anyone interested in purchasing a beagle to do their research. Beagles are not for everyone. We strive to find good homes for good beagles. Do your homework. Be sure that you want a dog whose greatest pleasure in life is following his nose to the next good smell that may be miles from your home. Three necessities: Fenced yard, early obedience training and lots of patience! If the Beagle is for you, we will be happy to provide you with any information you might require. As a rule, I do not sell puppies to families with children under 6 years of age. Visitors to our kennel are always welcome. As well as raising beagles, our kennel owns an Australian Shepherd. Our “hairy” dog competes in obedience and enjoys Rally-O. Our property was recently annexed by the city, so consequently we are trying to keep our numbers down and wind down our breeding program.
Paul , Corinne , Derrick and Rachael live in a small community outside the Salt Lake Valley in Utah. SeventhSon Kennels was established in 1985. Our kennel name came fairly easily… Paul is the “SeventhSon” in a family of 10 children.
Shortly after moving to Utah, we happened to drive by a dog show and decided to stop and see what it was all about. As many of you know… that 1st exposure to a dog shows is all that it takes.
We have enjoyed several breeds over the years. Akitas, Australian Shepherds and finally settling into Beagles. Each breed has provided us with a unique learning experience, much success and total enjoyment. We have been fortunate to own top quality dogs. These many companions have helped us earn several titles and wins ranging from Champion (CH), Companion Dog (CD), Canine Good Citizen (CGC), Best of Opposite (BOS) at a national specialty and also twice at Regional Specialties, Best in Specialty Show (BISS) at a regional specialty, Group 1, 2, 3 and 4 at the all breed shows,Winners Bitch (WB) at Regional Specialties for 5 point majors, and our latest accomplishment was an Award of Excellence at the Eukanuba Invitational 2006. All wins were owner handled except for the BOS at the nationals. It also has opened the door to handle other breeds as well. But most of all, they provided us with a friendship and loyalty that is unmatched. Many are now gone, but not forgotten.
We love the smaller, pocket-sized beagle and were thrilled to get 2 mating pairs in 2015 that produced one litter of eight and another litter of five. In 2016 we paired one of our males with our third female which produced a healthy litter of seven in April. We had no still births and every puppy was beautiful, playful, and ready for a loving home. We have had 8 more litters since then and feel that all the puppies were blessed with loving and caring families. In 2018, we allowed our younger females to mature and paired them at 2 years of age to our males.
We feel that naming a puppy is a very personal experience. For that reason, we use color-coded collars to identify puppies for reservations. Putting a name on these little guys is very personal and we leave that to the new owners. We would love to know the name you pick for your puppy, especially during the adoption process. As soon as you let us know your puppies name, we update their photo immediately!
Located in Northern California, Starrinite is a small hobby kennel that exhibits and breeds beagles. Our merry little hounds are first and foremost beloved family pets, with conformation, obedience, agility, therapy and water play being the fun activities we enjoy with them.
I have owned and loved dogs my whole life, growing up with a Basset Hound and several lab mixes. I enjoyed the loving temperament of the basset, but also the more outgoing personality and activeness of the labs. When researching the breed I wanted for my own family, the Beagle was the perfect choice. They have the wonderful tenacious hound attitude that I love and the more athletic body that I wanted. The Beagle’s compact size, go-get-um personality, good looks, friendliness and sensitivity make them an ideal dog for many families. Don’t mistake their stubbornness for lack of brains, the Beagle is highly intelligent. The beagle is a wonderful dog, but not for every situation. Please read my Beagle Info page, research the breed and talk to owners and breeders so you know what a beagle is really about before you make a commitment. They really are a “big dog in a small package.”
We do not have puppies all the time, but when we breed, it is our goal to breed Beagles that are beautiful, healthy and of wonderful temperament. Our puppies are lovingly hand-raised in our home where they get plenty of handling and socialization.
Windyroc Kennel began in 1964 with our first litter of beagle
puppies. Since our start, we have been active in canine issues and
working hard to protect the integrity of our breeds.
Please feel free to browse through our site and use the form on
the contact page if you have any comments or questions.
Thank you,
Jan and Tom Schmidt
Aloha Spirit Beagles was born on the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii. While residing in Hawaii we participated in AKC All Breed and Specialty Shows.

Fleur de Lis Kennels (an AKC Breeder of Merit) is a collaboration of Jennifer Bell and Jennifer Bewley Robbins. The “Jennifers” met at a Great Dane Club of Louisiana meeting in 2000, soon learning they had the same goals in mind for breeding the best Great Danes possible. Through a lot of hard work and determination, champions were born. Jennifer Bell is an AKC Breeder of Merit having bred/co-bred, owned/co-owned, and handled many health tested Beagle and Great Dane Champions and Grand Champions thus far. After much heartbreak and dismay, she decided to branch off into Beagles and they have become her absolute heart breed. Both Jennifer’s now own and co-own Great Danes and Beagles with each other and several other owners. Together, they breed 1-2 litters per year at most. Jennifer Bell is an all breed professional dog show handler. The Jennifers are also lucky to have husbands, Hank and Tom respectively, who appreciate and share their joy with the dogs.
Currently, Jennifer Bell’s home shares space with Rebel, Stevie, Noelle, Phoenix and Julie. Many others come and go regularly for enjoyment, training and just grandma time! Jennifer Bewley Robbins shares her home with Whiskey and Tater, plus many other Beagles who go for play time regularly. Please enjoy our website!
Ironwood Beagles is a small hobby kennel located in Morristown, Indiana. We breed quality AKC registered beagles for show, performance, or family companions. We breed to the AKC standard, focusing on health, temperament, and soundness.
Thank you for visiting our web site. Please call us at 317-797-3433 for further information about this wonderful breed or to check availability of upcoming litters. Please note that we breed only one to two litters per year and usually have a waiting list for our puppies. We’re happy to refer to other reputable breeders in your area if we do not have a puppy available at the time you inquire.
At Ironwood, we support purebreed rescue and are always happy to refer buyers to rescue organizations.
We have been breeding Beagles for over 40 years and have produced some of the top winning Beagles in the USA and in many other countries all over the World.
Throughout our site you will see pictures of our dogs both past and present. If you have any questions or want more information, please contact us – we do answer our email!
We’re a family hobby kennel in located in southwestern Pennsylvania. We strive to improve our breeds by producing puppies that exemplify their breed standards. Although our pups are bred to excel in conformation and field work, they are first and foremost excellent companions.
We began our foray into conformation events with our second vizsla, Sagebrush, in 2002, and subsequently became addicted to showing. In 2004, we added what initially started out as “a beagle”, and have since made way for “a few beagles”. These merry little hounds have certainly worked their way into our hearts.
Our involvement with our dogs over the years has allowed us to make many close friends and aquaintances who have helped us to learn so much. We are forever thankful for everyone who has given us their time, knowledge and resources in helping us to get to where we are today.
Hello!
My name is Amanda Lindemuth, Mandy for short. My mother, Jody Lindemuth & I have been breeding, hunting, & showing our beagles since the early 2000s. My mother is more of a silent partner now-a-days, but she’s the reason I’m in the breed!
At Nor’easter, we carefully plan our litters and breed for sound health and temperament, and perform all recommended health testing on our breeding stock prior to breeding. Litters are raised in our home, so puppies are exposed to normal household sights, sounds and smells from an early age. Puppies also receive Early Neurological Stimulation during their first sixteen days, which stimulates their hormonal, adrenal and pituitary systems, and helps them to better withstand stressful situations as they mature into adulthood. Puppies typically stay together with their litter-mates until at least nine weeks of age, which aids in the development of their social manners.
Show quality puppies stay at Nor’easter, where they will complete their AKC Championship prior to their own role in our breeding program. Puppies (and occasionally adult dogs) which might not excel in the show ring are sold to approved homes, with a health guarantee and contract.
Nor’easter is committed to our dogs for their lifetime, so our breeding program stresses quality, not quantity. On average, we breed one litter per year, and we do not keep a ‘waiting list’ unless we have a breeding planned, an expectant mother, or a litter of puppies ‘on the ground’. If we don’t anticipate having a dog or puppy available for your family, we would be happy to make referrals to other reputable breeders throughout the US. We are both Regular and Supporting Members of the National Beagle Club of America, and AKC Breeders of Merit.
Youngsong beagles was formerly known as Michlis Beagles. We are avid beagle lovers who enjoy showing our dogs. We occasionally have puppies available.
y family acquired our first Newfoundland while I was in high school. Her name was Kodi and she came from a puppy mill. Unfortunately Kodi developed a number of orthopedic problems as she matured but was a typical Newfoundland in temperament.
While in college I acquired my second Newfoundland, Chablis, after what I thought was a lot of research. Chablis ended up with what we now know as forelimb anomaly . After 4 major surgeries at Ohio State University she ended up living a long healthy life but having a breeder who had no interest in her problems was disheartening.
In 1992 I purchased my foundation bitch Taylor from Diane Broderick of Amity Newfoundlands in New Jersey. The following year I purchased my second foundation bitch from Kathy Hamilton of Old Bay Newfoundlands in Virginia. I have to thank them as well as many other breeders that have mentored me along the way. You helped me get a great start into the world of Newfoundland dogs.
I also must thank Becky Reynnells who came to stay at Top Shelf in 2004. With her help showing and grooming the dogs Top Shelf has achieved awards beyond any of my expectations.
Last but not least – a big thank you to Amy Lane of Allegiance Newfoundlands who I have co-owned dogs with over the years. She has spent countless hours developing and updating our new Top Shelf website. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Hi, I’m Sarah Sweetman
I’m the breeder behind Kazuri Beagles and Cavaliers located in Washington. We are lucky enough to have a small, hobby kennel located approximately 15 miles north of Seattle in Washington. While we say “kennel”, our dogs are primarily our pets, spending their days relaxing on the couch. They are part of our family, and any puppies are raised in the same way, in our home. Our goal is to produce quality dogs that not only look beautiful, and are healthy, but also have the temperament that will make them a life-long member of your family.
