Our love for dogs and raising healthy, loving puppies spans over 3 decades. It’s been, and continues to be, a privilege to share that with many people as they welcome their “new member” to their own family. We believe in raising healthy, social, and loving puppies so they can become a part of your family for many years. We’re very selective and particular in the genetics that we choose to breed. We also believe in excellent nutrition from puppy to geriatrics. We are around the puppies every day, providing them with lots of socialization.
We are not a large kennel with many breeding dogs. We have our beloved dogs as pets. We don’t breed for quantity, but instead, quality. All of our dogs are like our children and extremely loved. They don’t sit locked up in a kennel, they are out with us, their family. We are a smoke free home, for the pups best start possible. Health is number one.
Our Irish Setters are part of our family.Our Dogs are OFA certified for hips and elbows, and tested to be genetically free of PRA, Clad and Vwd. In our future breeding program we will strive for happy, healthy offspring that look good and move well both in the field and conformation ring. We are members of the Irish Setter Club of America, the Irish Setter Club of Minnesota and the Indianhead Kennel Club of Eau Claire, WI.

The goal at Sharp Shooter’s Kennel is to produce German shorthaired pointer puppies that will mature into truly versatile hunting companions with impeccable instincts. Dogs aren’t added to the breeding program until they have proven themselves as hunting dogs, have met stringent conformation and health criteria and have successfully tested in sanctioned hunting trials. Debby, Julie and Kaylee all became Register of Merit Breeders, a distinction awarded by the American Lhasa Apso Club, as well as American Kennel Club Breeders of Merit. Our friendship strengthened with each passing year…belief in upcoming puppies, exciting wins, fun times, trials, tribulations and more bottles of wine. Friendship inspired us to persevere, each offering encouragement when the other needed it, each being able to share with the other.
We are a small hobby farm located in beautiful rural northern Minnesota. Our goal is to breed AKC registered Collies by the AKC breed standard with excellent health, outgoing temperaments, high intelligence, and classic beauty and elegance. We are dedicated to striving for genetic soundness, confirmation, health, and temperament. The majority of our Collies are sold on limited AKC registration unless other arrangments have been made. We breed about four carefully planned litters per year.
Hickory Creeks Collies produces AKC Rough Collies that are health tested, with show quality, type and balance in all colors. My puppies receive regular preventative deworming to avoid any parasitical issues. Each puppy will be examined by a veterinarian before departure. All of my Pet Companion puppies will be sold with AKC Limited Registration. Your puppy will have eligibility for all AKC Events, Programs & Competition, with the exception of conformation and breeding rights.
