I brought home my first Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier in July 2005. Mackanme Wheatens, Reg., is located in Gig Harbor, Washington, which is just over the Narrows Bridge from Tacoma, and about 40 miles from Seattle. All of our dogs are registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC). I chose this kennel name because Mack was our first Wheaten and, truly, everything started with Mack an Me!
Let me introduce myself! My name is Brenda Curtis and I am a retired environmental officer for my great state of Washington. My days are now spent with our beautiful Boston terrier dogs, our guardian mastiffs as well as our farm animals (horses, chickens, African grey parrot-rescue, and one tarantula) in Graham, Washington. We live on 10 acres with my Husband Terry, who was raised on a 75 acre ranch and is the owner of an established local construction company. Our dogs live in our home with us and have their own bedroom with comfy kennels to sleep in at night. We were both raised with traditional family values passed down from our farming ancestors. We are active in confirmation competition to help us to evaluate the success of our breeding program.
We are located in the great Pacific Northwest near Seattle Washington . Our #1 priority is to strive to breed exceptional quality Boerboels and loving companions for you and your family. We focus on health, temperament, and quality. We also want to make sure our Boerboels are going to loving families. It is important to us that pups are going to homes in which they will receive the best care and attention.
We are a small, serious, hobby breeder dedicated to the
Labrador Retriever for over 20 years and counting! We invite
you to come on in and make yourself at home. We are very
proud of our Labradors or as I call them ” our kids” and in
addition to being part of our breeding program they are first
and foremost a part of our family. I hope you enjoy your visit
and fall in love, just as we have, with Labrador Retrievers.
Truly a breed like no other.
We raise our dogs as part of the family. They live in our home and have been socialized and hugged alot. We are located in the northwest state of Washington. We breed with the intent of improving the health and temperament of this charming breed. We are in the show ring quite often with our next little Chin strutting their stuff.
We have been involved with breeding and showing since we got our first Chin in 1999. All of our dogs, puppies and adults, live in the house as our pets. We believe that this is best, as they were bred to be a companion dog and need to be in your company. As we usually breed only once or twice a year, we will occasionally have puppies available. Showing dogs has been a true joy!
At Precious Companions, we strive to offer more than just a family pet. We strive to
offer a family member. Are you looking for someone to be happy to see you when you
come home? Ready to play and catch a ball? Or just relax and watch some TV with? I
specialize in developing wonderful companions. I own or have owned the parents and
grandparents, and in some cases, great-grandparents. Make sure you have
researched the best breed that fits your lifestyle. I can help you with finding the right
match. Contact me, call or email! 206-930-0811

Located in the Seattle area, “Talbot Hill” is a local reference as well as a nod to the Talbot Hound, an ancestor of the modern beagle that we know today.

AKC Breeder of Merit
We are a small hobby kennel located in southwest Washington, just north of Portland, Oregon. We show and breed occasionally. We sometimes have puppies and adults available to the right home. Please read through the following pages and learn more about us and the Beagles we love.
We are hobby breeders breeding “show quality” but all of our dogs are family pets first and foremost. We give equal consideration to Temperament, Health and Conformation, for a well balanced, healthy, family pet who will be a great representation of the Wheaten Breed. We are not a “kennel” and breed a litter only occasionally, about once every 2 years or so. As a member of the SCWTCA, we breed only in accordance with the code of ethics.
Our 30 acres is bordered by commercial timberland and the national forest which provides endless miles of trails for running the dogs. I’m proud when working people want my dogs, purebreds or crosses, and I will deal to proven working homes. Many of the qualities that make a good working dog make a good pet. Sometimes the extreme specialized niche of a real working dog calls for an extreme temperament, which really is not a good fit in many a pet home. We proceed in the faith that we know the difference, and that there is nothing wrong with breeding to create what we want…..you and I both.
At Romany Collies we strive to breed healthy, beautiful, and well tempered rough and smooth collies. We select for old-fashioned collie temperament and sensitivity; high intelligence and biddability; robust good health; proper structure; and of course, beauty.
Our dogs are raised around our young children, horses, cats, and poultry. All our adult dogs’ eyes have been checked for CEA (Collie Eye Anomoly) and all have healthy eyes. And most importantly, we have spent literally YEARS trying to find beautiful quality dogs without inbreeding and line-breeding which we found to be most crucial when finding a family pet. When choosing a collie we welcome any and all inquiries you might have via email or telephone calls.
Since 1991 we have had Scottish Terriers in our home and as time passed we started showing our Scotties and then began our breeding program. Our small kennel strives to breed healthy Scotties for companionship and personal enjoyment. Again we do show our Scotties and our prime goal is to produce Scotties that conform to American Kennel Club standard for the breed. With health, attitude and conformation being held in balanced portions, we strive to produce the best Scottish Terriers we can.
