Our privately owned kennel specializes in the breeding and the sale of AKC Registered British Labrador Retrievers. We are located in North Alabama in the small farming community of Rock Springs. Built in 2014, our kennels offer AKC registered British Labrador Retriever puppies. All of our pups are born here and lovingly cared for until they become part of your family. We started our kennel because of our love for the Lab breed; their excellent working qualities, intelligence, loyalty and disposition that make great companions or gun dogs.

Encore Beagles is a small kennel located near Anniston, Alabama that deals exclusively with beagles. Beagles are our love, dream, and a huge part of our daily life. We’ve been breeding beagles for over 20 years, but have been showing for almost 40 years. Our goal is to raise healthy, happy, merry little hounds as close to standard as possible. All our puppies are born and raised in a home environment while being socialized for pet homes and the show ring. Pet and show puppies are available and adults on occasion. We are a member of the Anniston Kennel Club, National Beagle Club and proud to have met requirements to be recognized as a “Breeder of Merit” by American Kennel Club.
At our home, our dogs are our pets first, breeders second. Many of our dogs live in the house as much-loved members of our family.
Temperament and health are always our #1 priority. GSP’s is a versatile breed and our dogs are proof, having been active in conformation, obedience, rally, tracking, fly-ball, agility, upland & waterfowl hunting, and therapy/hospital visitation. But just as important, they excel at the most important job of all – they are all wonderful, loving family companions!
Old Hickory Kennels’ owner, Larry Mize, has raised and trained champion German Shorthair Pointers for more than 40 years. The Veteran-owned business’s selective breeding program continues to produce excellent hunting dogs and family companions alike.
Dave and Gail Gordon started their dog show careers separately but coincidentally in the same year, 1971. Dave started in Ohio and Gail in Georgia. Dave and Gail met through the dog show ring and were later married in 1979. In our 45 years showing dogs, we have finished more than 100 Champions. Dave chose the name “Marma Farms” because he was breeding and showing Great Danes to begin with, and Marmaduke was the well-known comic strip about a silly Great Dane. Gail also started showing and breeding Great Danes. When we were married, we combined kennels and kept the name “Marma Farms”. It wasn’t until 2003 that we started breeding and showing Shiba Inus.
Three C’s Scotties are bred from some of the finest stock and champion lines in the world. You will find our Scotties to have been well socialized and have excellent temperament.
Our Collies enjoy romps in the fields, creeks, and woodlands that are part of Southland’s surrounds.The temperament, health, and character of a “Southland” Collie are what have made the Collie a most beloved and
legendary breed for so many years.Southland is proud to be the home of numerous Specialty and All-Breed winners for the last quarter century.
The love for Chihuahuas inspired our friendship several years ago. We both have years of experience working with, breeding & training this amazing Breed.

We raise and spoil Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers. Our Wheatens are AKC registered. They are our family pets and we adore them. Wheatens make an excellent addition to a family. We live in Northeast Tennessee, between Knoxville and Bristol.
Dot and Jim Leverett and their Boston Terrier babies are located on a 15-acre mountaintop about 30 miles north of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Their love of the breed started in 1984 when they bought their first Boston, Mandy.
My first Boston Terrier was given to me about 41 years ago. Having had dogs all of my life, I quickly fell in love with this breed. I found them to be gentle, loving, intelligent, and easy to train with great temperaments. They are very playful and always looking for love, attention and acceptance from their owner. The Boston Terrier is loyal and loves people, especially children. After several years, I decided to breed my little “Cody”. From this time forward, we have loved having the babies around. Currently, we have three Bostons Terriers in the house. Here at HICKORY HAVEN BOSTONS, we raise the puppies in my home, so they are well adjusted to family life when they go home with their new owners. We breed with great attention given to the quality of the puppies to ensure good health and easy going personalities.
