My focus on breeding has evolved over the years and every breeding is picked with the hope of breeding a sound terrier. Temperament continues to be my main focus when choosing a dog to breed. I take the responsibility of breeding these dogs to heart and will continue to breed the best dogs I possibly can for the purposes I’ve listed.We hope to continually improve the health, soundness, conformation, working ability and temperament of our puppies with each litter that we produce. I love this breed, and couldn’t imagine life without them in my heart and home, and I am happy to share it with people that seriously want to have one as an alert dog or hunting companion.
We have been raising Bostons for three generations. My grandmother, Faye Spain, began raising Boston Terriers over 50 years ago. We raise Bostons and only Bostons. We take a great deal of pride in the quality of our dogs. We believe in quality not quantity. We do our best to maintain the breed standard in our dogs. While our goal is to breed for show puppies, we do occasionally have pet puppies available. We are located in Cleveland, TX and Waller, TX (outside of Houston).
Just north of Houston, near The Woodlands and Conroe, Texas, as a young boy I ran the woods around Old Waverly hunting whatever was in season. It was my grandparent’s farm, we called it “the country”. Stories of adventures in the woods and hay meadows around “Waverly” continued until I went off to college. During and after college the hunting stories kept on being written but they occurred in other places.
