We are located in Strasburg Colorado and the care takers of Van D Mastiffs are Shannon & Nick Van Duren.We are super proud of all of our puppies, of the puppies that we have bred 10 are AKC Canine Good Citizens and 15 have their AKC Championship. Nick & I pride ourselves on showing our dogs ourselves. Of those dogs that we either own or co-own 10 of them finished their championship owner handled.
We have been loving and raising Mastiffs in SC for over 20 years. Here at Two Ponds Mastiffs our goal is to provide the healthiest, happiest, most well socialized Old English Mastiff Puppies. We raise a limited number of puppies but our quality and track record has been great for many years. Our dogs are a part of our family and each puppy is individually raised with a hands on approach from the moment they arrive until they join your family.
Our dogs are members of the family. They are spoiled rotten and loved endlessly. We compete in conformation, but our dogs are pets before show dogs. I believe in health testing our dogs to ensure that everthing we do is for the betterment of the breed. Mastiffs, just like any breed, have health issues. We wanted to make sure that we were going to have a HEALTHY dog above all else. Secondly, came temperament. As far as we are concerned,, if you have to “Put Up With” a dog’s temperament…you should not have the dog. You have to have a dog healthy in mind and body in order to be happy. If a dog can not play because it is crippled or be comfortable around the family because of a temperament problem then neither the dog nor you will be happy, and this is no life for a Mastiff.

We are located in the Middle Tennessee area, in the beautiful town of Dickson on 10 acres.Everybody is raised with our family, in the house (even with 2 sofas, sometimes we don’t have room to sit!Soundness and temperament in a mastiff is very important to us. For that reason we practice and strongly encourage socialization and obedience training. We are proud to be owner handlers when we show our dogs – and it so much fun!

We take pride in our Mastiffs and when we do have a litter we strive to produce to meet AKC/OFA standards. We research our stud’s pedigrees prior to breeding to look at getting all the strengths and weaknesses of each canine being bred to ensure we are breeding for soundness, structure, temperament, and health. At our home-Sims English Mastiffs our dog & puppies enjoy watching their favorite show, The Dog Whisper. We support conformation showing, rally and obedience programs conducted by AKC at their locations of events.
We are located on a small farm in Southern Iowa near Lake Rathbun. My husband and I have 4 young kids, and we have been raising AKC English Mastiffs for over 14 years.
